Ai Amaishi (天石 藍 Amaishi Ai? ) is a character in the Shuffle series and main character in Princess x Princess.
She is described as a "Mysterious older sister from the past".
Background[]
A mysterious amnesiac girl suddenly appears at Verbena Academy. Ai has a sense of frankness, but her words and actions are mature. She occasionally regains her memory and guides everyone by saying something meaningful.

Etymology[]
- The name Ai means "indigo" (藍).
- Ai's surname Amaishi means "heaven/heavenly, sky, imperial" (天) (ama) and "stone, volume measure" (石) (ishi).

- She is the second "Ai" in the series, the first being Ai, Forbesii's fiancé in Tick! Tack.
