SHUFFLE! Episode 2 A man targeted by both gods and demons, or Shuffle! Episode 2 for short, is the sequel for the original Shuffle!. The game’s teaser site was opened, revealing that the core staff from the original Shuffle! returned.
Shuffle!'s creator Agobarrier, who passed away in March 2016, is credited as writing the series draft, meaning Shuffle! Episode 2 is based on scripts he left behind. Shuffle! Episode 2‘s character design and art are handled by Aoi Nishimata and Hiro Suzuhira, who both handled the same roles in all previous Shuffle! games.
The game features brand new characters and takes place 100 years after the events in the original Shuffle.
Story[]
Time has passed since the "SHUFFLE!" era.
The world once experienced a great disaster, but those difficult times have passed, and the people continue to lives normally. Relationship between the three worlds; the Humans, Devils, and Gods are also getting better and cultural exchanges between worlds have become commonplace.
A young man named Raito Aioi, who lived with his cousin, hoped his ordinary and monotonous life would last forever. However, his life has changed entirely since this summer.
- The princesses from the world of Gods and Devils came looking for him to cause trouble.
- There is also a lovely junior transfer girl who wants to be close to him.
- Furthermore, the cousin began to question whether her love for Raito was just familial or different.
- Finally, the appearance of a mysterious little girl who is also looking for the young man, and wants to live with him.
Will Raito be able to overcome it all and continue his ordinary life?

- As the first series that uses flower names as the names of the characters, the second episode uses the names of gemstones and other rocks as the basis for naming the characters.
- Primula makes an appearance in this game as a side character and is the only returning character from the original series.
- Verbena Academy has been magically moved from the Koyo to Kongo Town, the area where both story of SHUFFLE! Episode 2 and SPIRAL! occurred.
- A catastrophe called "The Great Collapse" occurred sixty years in the past. It is hinted that Rin perished in the disaster.
- Rin married Lisianthus in the current timeline. However, Primula stated that the parallel worlds where he got together with the other heroines, also existed beyond "The Gate" (a time-space rift).
- Asa and Kaede worked for a long time in the Devil and God World. Both are famous enough to have movies and books written about them.
- Almost all Episode 2 characters resemble those of the previous series, with backgrounds and traits that are similar or even contradictory.
